A landscape shaped by water
Cenotes open a window into the Yucatán Peninsula’s flooded limestone system. Clear freshwater can reveal columns, ledges and submerged cavern spaces with unusual definition. At the edge of the natural light zone, the contrast between jungle daylight and the mineral interior is unlike an ocean reef.
Depending on the cenote and conditions, divers may see shafts of sunlight, stalactite and stalagmite formations, fossil textures and the optical shimmer of a halocline where fresh and salt water meet. These are possibilities, not guarantees; the site selection and what is visible can change from day to day.

The day’s cenote selection is not guaranteed in advance. The team chooses suitable sites according to conditions, operations and the experience level of the participating divers.
Cenote water sits around 24–25°C year-round. A 3mm wetsuit (included) is comfortable for most divers.
The current experience lists an approximate duration of ~7 hours. Pickup and return timing can vary with the selected cenotes and hotel location.
This specific trip is for certified divers. Non-divers can join many cenotes on snorkeling tours instead — just ask us.
